Savigny-les-Beaune Vieilles Vignes 2022

Savigny is a small village situated just outside of Beaune town itself and offer tremendous value v quality ratio (At both village and 1er Cru levels)!

Concentration and elegance go hand in hand in this supple, richly blackberry & brambly Pinot Noir. Sourced from vines averaging almost 70 years in age. 

Moderate in body and etched by a stony, salty minerality, it's a wine that's supple and welcoming young but will hold for another 8 years at least.

Tasting notes:

This elegant perfumed Savigny preserves the complex raspberry fruit flavours, distinct mineral character and power inherited from the iron rich soil. 

The inclusion of some stems created an enticing, smoky nose which draws you in to enjoy this wine which is well-balanced and smooth on the palate.
