Savigny-les-Beaune Premier Cru 2020

  Close to the town of Beaune itself, Savigny produces 22 different Premier Cru wines. 

Often parcels from a number of these vineyards will be blended into a generic Premier Cru (without the specific vineyard name) to harness the most successful vineyards of a given vintage – as in this example here.

This is an energetic, elegant, rounded, fresh and structured wine, with that balance of delicacy and concentration that speaks truly of the Côte de Beaune.
