The Mâconnais district is located in the south of Burgundy, west of the Saône river. It takes its name from the town of Mâcon.
It is best known as a source of good value wines that ooze easy drinking red fruits!
Tasting notes:
The delightful Mâcon Rouge is round and elegant, making it a plump and quaffable everyday Burgundy.
This ruby-red wine offers aromas of blackberries, wild strawberries, hints of spice and leather.
After a supple attack on the palate, the fruity aromas are dominant.
