Chambolle is a small village located in the Cote de Nuits in Burgundy between Morey-Saint-Denis to the north and The Close de Vougeot to the south.
The Chambolle-Musigny vineyard is located in the middle of the five big communes for red wine in Burgundy and covers about 150 hectares. The village takes its name from the “Chambolle” stream, which flows through the commune.
This appellation was created in September 1936.
Tasting notes:
The ’22 is a suave and seductive iteration of Chambolle-Musigny, carrying effortlessly all the attractive traits of the village.
Elegant and balanced with a perfume of strawberries, red cherries and a subtle oak background.
The palate fuses fresh acidity and smooth tannins, which prolong the abundant fruit presence in a long finish.
